We are a small radio control club located 12 Km East and South of Strathmore Alberta. Our members fly model airplanes and helicopters in a number of different sizes in glow, gas and electric. We follow Model Aeronautics Association of Canada (MAAC)rules.
About Us
Founded in 1972, Foothills Flyers is a model aircraft club with a country flying field located just east of Strathmore's Eagle Lake in Alberta. This club is dedicated to promoting family enjoyment of the hobby and takes pride in a membership that "pitches in" to maintain field facilities and promote club events. Members have made a tradition of camping at the field for weekends of flying and camping fun.
